David Venner has served as SVP General Manager, Surgical Solutions, for Bioventus since December 2024. Mr. Venner has more than 30 years of experience as a senior healthcare business leader in the medical technology, surgical device, and hospital markets.
Before joining Bioventus, he was General Manager of the Wound Care business in the Americas for Mölnlycke Health Care. Previously, he held various leadership roles across three operating companies at Johnson & Johnson for 19 years, and he has also worked for the Mercy Health System — Northern Region, where he led the Physician Services Department.
Mr. Venner holds both a Juris Doctor degree and Bachelor of Arts (Communications) from the University of Toledo. Throughout his career, he has remained active in philanthropic organizations, been a consistent contributor to industry panels, and served as an executive sponsor and mentor to numerous associates.
