Helen Leupold serves as the Bioventus’ Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer and is responsible for leading all aspects of human resources and communications. She joined Bioventus in 2022 as the Vice President of Human Resources and was appointed to her current role in April 2023.
Ms Leupold has more than two decades of HR leadership experience in various industries including biotech, medical device, and life sciences. Her experience specializes in organizational growth and transformation, human resources, and total rewards strategy; mergers and acquisitions and related integrations; and developing and sustaining DEI efforts.
Prior to joining Bioventus, Ms Leupold served as the Vice President, Human Resources Americas at Tecan where she led the integration of the US-based acquisitions and businesses and served on the global human resources leadership team. Prior to Tecan, she spent nearly fifteen years at Becton Dickinson (BD) serving in several HR leadership roles supporting Diagnostic, Life Sciences and Pre-Analytic Systems business units. Prior to BD, she was the Director Compensation and Benefits at TriPath and held various positions in compensation at large health care systems.
Ms Leupold earned a Masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Alabama.
